Vestas 11th Hour Racing have released a video documenting their journey to get the Volvo 65 figuratively on the road again after their dismasting 100nm south of the Falkland Islands, a British territory in the South Atlantic.
The team have had huge assistance from the largely British accented population of the islands, and come up with a aluminum pole which has been pressed into service as a spar, and rigged with some sails and gear from a container maintained by Whitbread Round the World Racer Skip Novak's Pelagic Expedition in the Falklands.
