Leading professional services company KPMG is unveiled as the newest sponsor of Antigua Sailing Week (ASW) 2018 and the KPMG Race Day, which is the final race day of the 2018 regatta.

KPMG's offices in Antigua and the wider Eastern Caribbean operate across the region with a specific understanding of the cultural, economic and political facets of each individual economy. In-depth industry knowledge is available through the global KPMG network which provides access to skilled professionals, across a wide range of industry sectors.

KPMG Partner Lisa Brathwaite said, "KPMG is delighted to be a part of Antigua Sailing Week 2018. We understand the importance of this event to Antigua and the community on a whole and as such we are extremely excited to be on board this year."

ASW organisers are delighted that this event is so highly valued by corporate entities: "Antigua Sailing Week is entering an exciting phase as it moves into its 51st year and this partnership is testament to the high regard that corporations have for ASW. We welcome KPMG's commitment and look forward to building a long-term partnership that will enhance the ASW experience for all our participants," explains commercial director Alison Sly-Adams.

The KPMG Race Day 5 Prize Giving takes place on the lawn in UNESCO World Heritage Site, Nelson's Dockyard. Branded burgees will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in class for that day's races. Later that evening the Final Awards Ceremony takes place in the same location and will bring ASW to a close.

ASW 51 takes place from April 28 to May 4 and attracts crews and yachts from across the globe. A fleet of 90 boats are already lined up with six weeks still to go until the start of the Peters & May Round Antigua Race followed by Antigua Sailing Week.
