It's the age-old question for anyone who's ever owned or managed a racing yacht. Where can I find enough crew to race on a regular basis?
The crewing challenge effects many facets of our sport. Trouble finding crew has led to declining fleet numbers, and puts stress on the yacht owner or crew manager responsible to ensure a full race team is available to sail each week.
MySail has taken on the challenge of solving this crew issue for yachts across Australia, as well as helping keen sailors find their next, or first, crewing position.
This is the first of a weekly crewing update from MySail, in partnership with Sail-World Australia. Here we will look at all things crewing, and provide an update on some of the latest crew positions available across the country.
If you'd like to find out more or apply for any of these spots, simply create a free account and message the yacht's skipper through MySail, or email us at for more information.
