A fishing vessel ran aground at Lake Tyers Beach in East Gippsland on the morning of 18 January.
The 23 m steel fishing vessel had three crew on board at the time of the incident.
The vessel's owner engaged a surveyor to assess the situation and arrange salvage.
Maritime Safety Victoria was the Control Agency, coordinating information with Victoria Police and Gippsland Ports, and liaised with the salvor to ensure the salvage progresses appropriately.
The trawler was off the beach 22 January 2018.
