Fireball seminar with Adam Bowers at Chew Valley Lake Sailing Club on 17 March

As part of the Fireball coaching weekend at Chew Valley Lake Sailing Club, near Bristol, we have an open seminar on the 17th March by renowned former Olympic coach Adam Bowers. The seminar will focus on strategy and tactics around key moments on the race course and maximising gains or minimising losses in time.

Adam is a great speaker and really engages with his audience, his CV speaks for itself and his enthusiasm for sailing and promoting youth sailing is second to none. You'll learn a heap of vital new information and have a great laugh whilst doing it. It truly is an event not to be missed. Tickets are just £5 and are on sale now. They are limited due to the size of the space so please book well in advance.

Final races run in contrasting winds The last Sunday of the Viking Marine sponsored Frostbites arrived with a forecast of contrasting conditions, blustery winds for the morning, followed by winds of between 5 and 7 knots during the projected race time with a 90 degrees swing. Posted on 27 Mar

Some experienced competitors found the challenge a bit too robust Yesterday's Frostbites in Dun Laoghaire Harbour were a test for organisers and competitors alike.
