Artemis Racing's Nathan Outteridge and Iain Jensen along with Emirates Team NZ skipper, Glenn Ashby made no-contest of the second day of the Superfoiler Grand Prix, having comfortable wins in each of the three races sailed.

Euroflex added to their win yesterday and tops the leaderboard with four wins followed by with iDIntranet (Paul Campbell-James GBR), Pavement (Steve Thomas), Kleenmaid (Olivia Price), Record Point (Phil Robertson) and Tech2 (Luke Parkinson) did not compete today.

Fresh breezes prevailed for the Series being sailed in the commercial shipping port in Adelaide, South Australia.

Like the opening day, there were were plenty of incidents in the new foiling class designed by Morelli and Melvin.

iD Intranet’s Paul Campbell-James was recovered from a man-overboard during the final race.

The trio were pushing series leader Euroflex all day and pressed a little too hard on the fourth race of the regatta and iD’s skipper was tossed overboard.

The second placed foiler continued racing – with Fang Warren taking command as the safety jet ski raced to get the British skipper back on board.

The America's Cup team Land Rover BAR sailor Campbell-James returned to iDIntranet unscathed and resumed helming duties – crossing the line just behind Euroflex.

“I think the lack of weight in the back of the boat helps so CJ can afford to go on a bit of a diet overnight so we can pop a little quicker up wind, it will be good,” said bowman Ed Powys.

Ignoring the ribbing of his team-mate, Powys hinted that there would be more of a challenge to come on the so far perfect record of Euroflex who have scooped that maximum points on offer. “If we can close the gap on the down-wind leg than we can mix it up a bit more. We will see what we can do tomorrow.”

Record Point was unable to take to the start line for the final skirmish on Adelaide’s Outer Harbour due to a capsize, but their team-mate James Wierzbowski is confident his team-mates from New Zealand will be able to fight back – “It is always devastating to have such a big capsize but the boys won’t be deterred and will be back fighting tomorrow.””

The racing continues tomorrow with double points on offer across all three races.

Live-streaming continues at www.superfoiler.com this Sunday from 2pm-4pm ACD
