With no America's Cup scheduled for 2018, the Bangin' the Corners Cup sailed from Wangi RSL Amateur Sailing Club is undoubtedly the premier event on the sailing world's calendar for 2018.

AC75's are in short supply at present, so the Bangin' the Corners team decided they had to go with the only other foiling monohull available.

See the top line sailors - well, six of them carefully selected by the team at Bangin' the Corners. Tom Slingsby, Nathan Outteridge and more - all dueling in foiling Moths.

As he is married to a Kiwi, Nathan Outteridge appropriately sailed under NZL sail numbers - "a happy wife is a happy life" and all that.

Great images and superb commentary as always from the Bangin' the Corners team. Why aren't these guys doing the alt-commentary for the real America's Cup??

And once you've stopped laughing - here's some of the serious video
