Core members of the Bella Mente Quantum Racing Association will deliver a special keynote presentation on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at the Sailing Leadership Forum in St. Pete Beach, Florida, at the TradeWinds Island Resorts.

In October, Bella Mente Racing and Quantum Racing made major news by announcing that their two highly successful American based racing programs were joining forces with the New York Yacht Club in a campaign for the 36th America's Cup.

Hap Fauth (Principal Owner), Terry Hutchinson (Skipper/Tactician), and Phil Lotz (Commodore of the New York Yacht Club) will be on hand to discuss their many goals for this exciting campaign.

This newly formed team has high hopes of returning the Cup to U.S. shores in 2021. But importantly, Bella Mente Quantum Racing has goals that go beyond winning sailing's most prestigious competition. This syndicate is focused on building a deeper connection with the American sailing community, creating both a sense of pride for this American-based campaign, and contributing to the rebuild of competitive sailing in the U.S.

With the change in boat design to an exciting, foiling monohull, windward-leeward racing courses, and a focused strategy to inspire sports fans around the world and unite the sailing world, the 36th America's Cup represents a unique opportunity to re-engage the grassroots of the sport and re-energize American sailing.

Bella Mente Quantum Racing is thrilled to have this special opportunity to present its overall strategy to grow the sport in the U.S. to the many leaders and influencers in the sailing industry who will be participating at Sailing Leadership Forum 2018.
