Launching brand new craft and technology at the London Boat Show 2018

Making their debut at the London Boat Show next week are more than 75 of the latest, highly-anticipated sail and power boats, innovative watersports craft, plus an array of exciting new marine equipment, gear and services for 2018.

The new-five day London Boat Show, taking place 10-14 January 2018, will pack ExCeL London's South Hall with over 330 exhibitors, along with hundreds of boats of all shapes and sizes. Showcasing soon-to-be must-haves alongside award-winning boats and products, it remains the first stop for any enthusiast looking to explore and test the newest products on the market and buy their boating essentials for the New Year.

NEW BOATS...

Boats confirmed to be making their World debut at the Show include the Grand Golden Line 420 RIB, Hanse 348 sail yacht, Sports Fisher Boat ECO 1-500 powerboat and Flying Mantis foiling trimaran and Princess V50 and Rodman Spirit 42 Coupe motor yachts. There will also be five European, 11 UK and 32 Show boat debuts.

Among them is also the Farr280 Club Racer which will be making its Show debut from new exhibitor, Farr Yacht Sales.

Joe Hall at Farr Yacht Sales explains: "We are delighted to be debuting our new production racing sailboat, the Farr280 Club Racer, at the forthcoming London Boat Show. Promising to deliver grand prix racing performance in under 30ft of craft, we will be offering visitors an exciting opportunity to explore the dynamic features of this revolutionary model and find out how they can become part of our High Performance 30 Class."

In addition first-time exhibitors, Malibu Boats, will be debuting three models at the Show, including the World launch of the Malibu Wakesetter 21 MLX.

Mike Dovey at Malibu Boats comments: "This brand new boat, which features Malibu's integrated Surf Platform (ISP), cruise control, 6.2 Litre Ford Raptor Motor and seating for 13, has already caused a stir when launched in Las Vegas. Its ability to offer world-class wakesurfing waves, tournament wakeboard wakes and a sensible price tag are a recipe for success. With worldwide sales already reported to be breaking records, we expect to see great things from this pocket rocket of a boat when we show it at the London Boat Show."

NEW PRODUCTS...

Twenty-two products and services have already been announced to be unveiled to the market at the 2018 event. They include Sonihull's Soni8 ultrasonic antifouling device, the Roam-Free Gateway, a one-of-a-kind 4G internet solution from MailASail, and jackets and shirts for Koy Clothing, which will be making their World debut at the Show. Alongside the latest merchandise from Garmin, Mobile Coverage, Fischer Panda UK, Torqeedo, Mercury, Landau UK, Binomatic, Ship Shape Bedding and Urban Truant.

This year, Musto will be returning to exhibit in its own right, displaying its latest collection of sailing clothing, accessories and footwear for the year ahead.

Taking a stand for the first-time ever in its own right is Suffolk Yacht Harbour, whose large stand will showcase the wonders of the East Coast's leading independent marina, as well as featuring several of the fascinating marine businesses it plays home to.

Jonathan Dyke at Suffolk Yacht Harbour, remarks: "At this year's London Boat Show we will be offering visitors a true taste of the East Coast Yachtsman's favourite marina - from our excellent boatyard, maintenance, repair and chandlery facilities to first-class sailmaking, rigging services, marine electronics, stainless steel fabrication, inboard/outboard engineering, classic yacht expertise and sailing school. Jimmy Green Marine will also be at the Show continuing to promote the latest premium brands within their ropes, rigging, anchoring and mooring specialist fields.
