Sunday saw the end of the Bosun Bob's RS400 Autumn Series hosted annually at Royal North of Ireland Yacht Club.
This series has built up over the last ten years to now have up to 18 boats on the start line every Sunday for the past 8 weeks, the hardy sailors and race committee braving some tricky and sometimes bitterly cold conditions!
The race team try to get 4 short bullet back to back races of around 15-20 minutes each. This event has proven to be very popular with the competitors, with new folk joining the class of these performance 2 man boats.
Competition at the top was very tight but after a series of 16 races the Bosun Bob trophy went to Paul McLaughlin & Owen McKinley well done guys! The RS400 Spring Series at Royal North is due to resume again in mid February 2018.
