by Icarus Sailing Media 19 Oct 2016 12:49 PDT 2-7 November 2016

The 36th edition of the Student Yachting World Cup will gather almost 100 students from all over the world in La Rochelle (France) from November 2nd to November 7th.

Crews from 8 different countries are going to compete for the SYWoC trophy during a whole week of regattas, defying last year winner from EPFL (Switzerland).

This year, the organization team wants to bring a few innovations to the event. All races are to be followed by GPS tracking and the 36th edition's competitors will enjoy a new cashless payment system proposed by PayInTech.

The event can be followed on Facebook and Twitter (@SYWoC), and all information about the races results will also be available on www.sywoc.org
