Platu 25 World Championship at Brunnen, Switzerland - Day 4

by Platu 25 Class 27 Aug 2016 00:22 PDT 20-27 August 2016

Falkone has a strong advantage over the current champion, Euz II Villa Schinosa in the Platu 25 World Championship at Brunnen, Switzerland.

"Today we didn't race well, we suffered from some wind shifts," said Euz II Villa Schinosa's skipper, Francesco Lanera. "Falkone shouldn't have any problems tomorrow to win the title. The Swiss team was very good, they are a very strong team, they know the lake very well and tactically they are extremely good. In Brunnen I found there is a good standard and I have to say that Italian teams are doing well."

Falkone is getting closer to the title and there is a fight for the podium: Euz II Villa Schinosa, Five For Fighting 3 and Superbusi will battle for second third position overall.

"The favourites are Five For Fighting 3 because they are ahead. Yesterday we were ahead..." continues Lanera, "...but not today. Tomorrow we'll see what it will happen."
