Tuesdays weather on the Isles of Scilly proved to be good for everything except sailing, a perfect summers day without wind.

Luckily conditions improved on Wednesday to allow the Race Committee the opportunity to run two races.

The first race saw Colin Crabbs Redwing Dragon take the lead however local Redwinger Keith Buchanan made full use of knowing the local waters to get past on the second round and held on for top spot.

The second race saw Buchanan leading from the early stages and hold off all challenges to make it two in a row.

Having gained a very creditable sixth in the days first race Looe pairing of James Porter and crew Claire Jaycock were forced to miss the second race due to the small matter of getting married. An event planned for what should have been the lay day.
