Day 1 & 2 - Figaro, first-timers, fast mast drops and First 40s

I talk with my Dad, Rob Douglass on his first sail on the Solent, Sam Laidlaw who dropped a rig during a race and was still leading the Quarter Tonners at the end of day two, Piers Hugh Smith who was leading the Figaro class and Andrew "The Admiral" McIrvine on his ups and down results in the First 40 class.

Day 3 - XOD and Lady Mariposa

A bit of banter with the X One Design class sailors, 19 were OCS yesterday out of the 58 boat fleet, the largest and apparently the most competitive at Cowes Week. Includes Simon "Fumesy" Russell and Ben "Patonator" Paton. I also spoke with Jason Rowed, the tactican on board Lady Mariposa who won IRC 0 yesterday.

Day 4 - Ladies Day!

Nic was sailing with The Magenta Project and the Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation on an M32. Plenty of action soon!

You can also listen out for me on Cowes Week Radio, or head to www.AdventuresofaSailorGirl.com, or find the Sailor Girl on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, @sailorgirlhq for more.
