Are you a club sailor or relatively new to sailing a Tasar and know you need to improve your sailing skills but not sure how? Then come along to one or more of the Tasar Association of Victoria's (TAV) training days. Two formal days have been planned:

  • Sunday 29th November 2015 - Altona Yacht Club
  • Saturday 6th February 2016 - McCrae Yacht Club
This year the TAV have engaged the services of Sean Bly to help run the training. Sean has been a leading light in the very tough Olympic Laser class. He has won 3 Laser Victorian state titles, represented Australia on a number of occasions at World Championships and has won the prestigious Victorian Youth Sailor of the year award in 2005. He has become a well known coach and mentor for many clubs and classes over the last few years and actively sails his Tasar at Somers Yacht Club. This experience makes Sean uniquely positioned to provide real improvement for Tasar Sailors of all levels.

The training is available for ALL TAV members at NO cost! For non TAV members the cost is $40 per boat. Please register with Pat Pedicini at .

The training day starts at 9.30 with with a review of how people boats are set up and finishes at around 4pm.
