Frensham's contribution to Bart's Bash was a slow drift in warm sunshine. The race was sailed on water that resembled a sheet of glass. A few light eddies of wind were enough to waft the thirty entries around the course in warm sunshine.

A representative of every class of boat sailed in the club contributed to the entries taking part. Of particular note were the Sailability Hansa dinghies sailed by five wheelchair users. One of these sailors, Paul Philips, was to take the second place in the event. But the main honours went to Alan Bird sailing his Solo class dinghy, with former club commodore Nick Royce in his Phantom dinghy third. A frustrating day but still fun.

Special Prizes:
John Winchester
James Stewart
Tessa Watkiss

Results:
1st Alan Bird, Solo
2nd Paul Philips, Hansa
3rd Nick Royce, Phantom
