UKCRA Youth & Junior Nationals at Grafham - Preview

Only a week to go to the 2015 Junior Catamaran championships!

The regatta is open to all catamarans with a SCHRS handicap. Helms and crew must be under the age of 16 on 31st December 2015, to be eligible for a result in the Junior Nationals.

Registration will be held at the GWSC Race Office from 9am on Saturday 22nd August. There will be a briefing in the downstairs wet bar at 11am.

Single handed Catamarans - £31 (£4 GWSC members)
Double handed Catamarans - £36 (£6 GWSC members)

The Spitfire Youth teams will be racing over the weekend and there will be opportunities to meet the youth sailors if you are interested in finding out more about Junior and Youth Catamaran sailing.

This event is also a Class Open event for the Spitfires and Dart 16s. Some junior Dart 16 sailors will have a result in the open result, so adult Spitfire and Dart 16 sailors are welcome to come and join in a friendly catamaran event. This could be the best first open meeting for those new to cat racing.

There is a practice day on Friday 21st August, racing Saturday and Sunday, camping on site and as always a friendly welcome from Grafham Water SC.
