International Moth European Championship in Sicily - Day 2

by Domenico Boffi 1 May 2013 16:53 AEST 28 April - 4 May 2013

Too much wind, no racing, but some fun

Too much wind again in Marsaly, Sicily, but the had 6 hours to wait before the cancellation of the racing in which they organised a game of Frisbee, then a scooters race...

When it seemed that you could start a race, Swiss and some English sailors went into the water.

After the cancellation of the racing, the Swiss, Chris Rast in the head, remained on the water taking advantage of gusts measured up to 37 knots, but they failed to break the record set on Saturday.

The other racers opted for a wine tasting trip to Cantine Florio.

The forecast for Wednesday looks favourable with 10 knots peaking at 14 knots during the hottest hours of the day.
