After a successful management buyout Speed Sails are delighted to announce that the team will be headed by Andy (Taxi) Davis and Jim Hunt. The new investment will allow us to further strengthen development and production. With immediate effect Speed Sails will be fulfilling all back orders and resuming normal service.

The Speed Sails dinghy moulds have been acquired by Winder Boats. You can contact David Winder on 01535 604980.

The 2010 Speed Sails range of ready to win racing dinghies will be available in the near future.

Over the coming weeks Mail Order and Web Sales will be further enhanced with a new warehouse, computer system and website. The shop in Aldridge will be pre-order collection only.

Andy Davis commented “The last couple of weeks of uncertainty are behind us and we apologise for any disruption caused, however we should be fully up to date within the next 10 days. Many thanks to our customers for their kind words, support and patience.”

Ben Estaugh commented, “We are confident that with all the new resources and focus we can offer a much improved service all around - something that my father would have been proud of."
