Dubarry on show at the Collins Stewart London Boat Show

by Dubarry / ADPR 14 Dec 2007 02:47 PST Stand N040A & N044D, 11-20 January 2008

Leading Marine footwear manufacturer, Dubarry of Ireland will be at the Collins Stewart London Boat Show on Mailspeed Marine stand N044D and Andark stand N040A. With its entire range of boots on show, there is sure to be something that will appeal to any sailing or boating fanatic.

Fastnet is the latest new boot from Dubarry. The Fastnet has a GORE-TEX® insulated, breathable inner lining which wicks moisture away from the foot whilst keeping in warmth for increased comfort and dryness in all conditions. A key feature of the Fastnet is the elasticated top section. It fits snugly around the calf to help prevent water coming in over the top of the boot, also offering the option to be folded down inside or outside the leg, when not worn with foul weather pants.

Safety and protection are key features of the Fastnet. Reflective stripes across the heel of the show ensure high-visibility at all times. Dubarry’s award winning outsole has been designed around a Formula 1 tyre to ensure durability and proven NonSlip – NonMarking™ on deck. The Fastnet retails at £190 and is available in European sizes 40-48.

As with all Dubarry’s boots, the Fastnet is made from DryFast – DrySoft™ performance leathers designed to dry quickly, yet softly even after repeated wetting and drying, also allowing the boot to maintain its shape at all times.

For those seeking extra warmth during the chilly winter months, the Ultima yachting boot is a must. The Ultima’s water resistant leather is specially treated with Dubarry’s DryFast – DrySoft™ technology to dry quickly, yet softly enabling the boot to maintain its shape at all times. It features a high tech GORE-TEX® lining to ensure that feet stay moisture free, dry and comfortable, even in extreme conditions. Available in brown leather, the Ultima comes in sizes European sizes 35-48 and costs £180.

The Shamrock boot is the original from Dubarry. It was the first ever yachting boot in the world to feature the highly breathable GORE-TEX® lining, and remains the flagship of the Dubarry Marine Collection. Its injection-moulded sole ensures a non-slip performance in all conditions and provides increased shock absorbency, durability and underfoot comfort. It is these features that make Shamrock the footwear of choice for many leading yachtsmen and crews. It is available in brown leather and navy cordura in European sizes 35-48 and is priced at £170.
