The new Henri Lloyd Atmosphere Jacket received a special mention within its category at the DAME Awards 2007. This follows the success from last year when Henri Lloyd also received a special mention for the TP2 Phantom Jacket – Women’s.

Since its introduction in 1991, the DAME award has become recognised worldwide as the leading international competition of its type in the field of marine equipment and accessories, the announcement took place today at METS.

The Atmosphere Jacket is constructed from one of the most technically advanced fabrics ever made by Henri Lloyd – TP AC, which features Adaptive Performance Technology.

TP AC, is a new waterproof, windproof and extremely breathable fabric that is temperature sensitive. It works by responding to the wearer’s body temperature, by either encouraging both heat and vapour to escape, helping cool the wearer, or by restricting the loss of heat therefore helping to maintain warmth. The outer fabric has also been treated with a SDWR (Super Durable Water Repellency) finish – which help to shed water therefore accelerates drying times and thus increasing comfort.

The design of the jacket also offers the superior level of design and workmanship expected from Henri Lloyd. All the seams are micro-stitched and taped to ensure an extremely durable and fully protected jacket. The shape of the jacket is contoured to reduce windage, articulated for ease of movement and the differential hem offers both more protection and ease of fit. Other features include a quick drying Rentex mesh collar lining offering supreme softness to sensitive facial areas, two side pockets with water resistant zips and a secure zip fastening internal pocket.

The jacket also features the Henri Lloyd hood and collar system, incorporating a stowaway hood, with single handed adjustment and release shock-cord, not only providing a customized fit, but also offering ease of use. The level of durability of the jacket is not compromised and the variant comfort qualities of the jacket will be maintained even after washing.

The jacket is available Phosphorous, Carbon, Optical White, Red and Navy and in size S – XXL and will be launched at the London Boat Show 2008 and available at retail from January 2008, RRP: £110.
