August 27, 10:00 GMT (that’s 11:00 in UK, and evening in Australia and New Zealand).

8 races with one dropout and 31 sailors from Europe and AUS.

As expected AUS sailors took the first 3 places (sailing home means in virtual Tacticat world that your boat has a quicker response to the orders you give, and that makes the difference in a crowded start or mark rounding).

For the first time the 8 races were recorded for later replay. That will help sailors to check what was wrong with tactics or with the rules. Tacticat is primarily a training tool for sailing. Tacticat races can be replayed by anyone. You need Java in your computer and a connection to Internet (the same requirements to actually sail Tacticat boats).

Replaying a race allows you to get on board of any racing boat (mouse rightclick), get the on-line navigational data for the boat you are in (E-key), access wind pressure info (W key), zoom in and out (Z and X keys) and a lot of other niceties.

Replays for AUS races:

Overall Results:

1st Patto (AUS)
2nd Strongy1986 (AUS)
3rd jd (AUS)
4th Zirimiri (ESP)
5th Beano (AUS)
6th Guasa (ESP)
