Omega-Xenon Open at Alton Water Sports Centre

Alton Water welcomed crews with testing conditions including gusting to F7, and occasional torrential rain. Racing was quite close for all places despite the efforts of the weather.

Race one saw the Xenons of Paul Davis and Chris Wye home first with Paul Doyle and James Mead following, Paul Gardener and Sue bringing the first Omega home into third place.

First and second positions were the same in race two but with Grant and David Blake taking third in their Xenon.

A change of course for the third race saw Doyle and Mead just snatch victory from Davis and Wye with the Blakes again taking a solid third place.
