Sea Sure 2025
It is not known when Bantry Bay Sailing Club was founded, but it is thought to have been in the late 19th Century. The club was active during the 1920s and 30s but lapsed during the Second World War, probably in 1946. However it has been continuously active ever since.

In 2011 the club took a further step by becoming an ISA recognized training centre for small boat sailing.
