Situated right on the point in Airlie Beach with stunning water views, Whitsunday Sailing Club has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and provides a perfect meeting place for people with a common interest in sailing and socialising in the wonderful environment of Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays.

Protected by the Great Barrier Reef – with calm waters, safe anchorages and line-of-sight navigation – the Whitsunday islands are one of the most enjoyable sailing grounds in the world. The mission of the Club is to encourage the involvement, enthusiasm and friendship that comes from sailing in this spectacular environment. The Club has both sailing and social facilities and you will find more information on these if you refer to the relevant tabs.

Social facilities include a bar, bistro, pokies, event catering, function and training rooms and a waterside pavilion suitable for many kinds of function. The Galley Bistro offers great value, seasonally designed menus and an all weather balcony to enjoy the waterside location. Lunch and dinner is served seven days a week, 363 days a year.

An active race program exists for off-beach and off-shore sailors and includes major regattas, competitive local fixtures and comprehensive training courses for adults and juniors. Highlights of the calendar include Airlie Beach Race Week each August and the Great Whitsunday Fun Race.
