Based at Elvington Airfield, adjacent to the Yorkshire Air Museum and five miles south east of the City of York, York Landyacht Club is currently the only British Landsailing airfield-based club in the UK. The site has one of the largest runways in Europe - two miles of smooth tarmac with a huge square pan area and various service roads.
