Mark Cranny’s ‘Hellrazor’, with Damien Matthews observing and crack ski racers Jason Walmsley and Peter Proctor doing the hard work has blitzed the field to win the Mildura 100 GTS Freight Management Super Class.

In winning, ‘Hellrazor’ also established a new race record, the time of 31 minutes, 27 seconds beating the former top time by three seconds.

Coincidentally, Peter Proctor was also part of the former race record, set behind ‘Hellbent’ with the same driver/observer, but with Chris Gelle his partner on ski.

Gary Holzwart at the wheel of ‘Burnin’ , Bernie Simpson observing, towed Grant Turner and Chris Stout into second place with ‘Superman’, Darren McGuire (driver) and Steve Madsen (observer) towing Daniel Graziano and Daniel Cotton taking third place.

‘Hellrazor’ and ‘Burnin’ and their skiers also clashed in the James Transport ‘Dash for Cash’ with ‘Hellrazor’ again taking the chequered flag from ‘Burnin’ with ‘Top Gun’ third home towing Steve Morley and James Buser with Russell Lewis and Chris Gelle in the boat.

Kane Howard and Chris Mansfield, behind ‘Elm Street’ claimed victory in the GTS Freight Management President’s Invitational, with Daniel Timewell driving and Peter Strike observing.

‘Sudden Force’, Howard Hoggins (driver) and Trent Eastgate (observer) towed Brady Hoggins and Codie Rigg into second place with ‘Ghostrider’, Mark Ross and Michael Keen in the boat, Richard Souwer and Mason Ross skiing taking third.

About seventeen classes turned out for the Mildura 100, with the Mildura Water Ski Club declaring the evening an outstanding success.

Competing classes included age groups for boys and girls, MOC, SMOC and various engine classes ranging from Unlimited Inboard and Outboard to 2.7-litre outboard.
