Featured yacht of the week- The Neel 45

by Des Ryan on 22 Dec 2010
The Neel performing SW
The Neel 50 trimaran was created in 2009 by Eric Bruneel of Neel-Trimarans based in La Rochelle in France.

Now the company has introduced the smaller version, the newly born Neel 45.

The NEEL 45 (44' 26'), also designed by Joubert-Nivelt, shows the same originality: space, light, modern design, loft look, storage areas, speed, safety and comfort at sea.

It also has the same privacy in the cabins, same independence for the owner and crew who each have their own room, and same conviviality in saloon, kitchen and cockpit.

There are two versions, one for the charter market, and another for the single owner. It's the single owner version that is wonderfully suitable for those who wish to go long range cruising and want some style and comfort.

It features the owner's cabin with its private bathroom, and in addition two double cabins with another bathroom and large storage capacity. The 'charter version' sleeps 12 people in five cabins.

As far as navigation is concerned, an innovation can be noticed: the reversed bows reduce pitching and maximize waterline length.
