Cleveland Race Week - Offshore PHRF Series features 69 boats

Cleveland Race Week drew to a close its 10-day event with 69 boats competing in the PHRF Offshore Series. The 'Big Boat' portion of the regatta began Thursday night with beautiful breeze on Lake Erie, and continued Friday night with lighter air.

Friday featured a finish line at the William G. Mather steamship in the heart of downtown Cleveland’s harbor. Both Saturday and Sunday’s races took place under sunny skies and winds that started on the low end each day but built in the afternoon.

The winners in the 11 Classes are:
PHRF Spin A: Flat Stanley, John McSweeney, 2-[4]-1-1-1-1-2-1 (9 points)
PHRF Spin B: Black Seal, Seth Young, 2-1-1-2-2-[3] (8 points)
PHRF Spin C: Fever, William Odell, [7/RET]-3-1-1-1-2 (8 points)
PHRF Spin D: TY-LEE, Jay Hawkins, 1-1-[3]-1-1-1 (5 points)
PHRF Spin E: it, Sminchak/Moose, 1-1-1-1-[3]-2 (6 points)
PHRF Spin F: Cracker, Taylor Sackett, 1-[2]-2-1-1-2-1-2 (10 points)
PHRF Spin G: Wizard, Jeff Mackay, 1-[3]-1-1-2-2-3-1 (11points)
PHRF Spin H: Hardtack, George Raynor, [2]-1-1-1-1-1-1-1 (7 points)
JAM A: Bonafide, Dave Krotseng, [7/DNC]-1-3-1-1- 3-1 (10 points)
JAM B: Vanquish, Kim Oleski, 2-1-2-[4]-1-1-2 (9 points)
