BMW Oracle Racing have advised that a special function will be held at the Special Function Room upstairs at the Voyager Maritime Museum, downtown Auckland, where young sailors can meet America's Cup winning skipper, Jimmy Spithill and get a free poster of USA-17 signed by the winning helmsman.

The America's Cup will also be on display at the event, which starts at 5.00pm on Thursday.

This is a great chance to meet the youngest ever America's Cup winning helmsman, hear about the BMW Oracle Racing project and what it was like to sail aboard USA-17.

Conducted by Tom Ehman of BMW Oracle Racing, and if it is anything like the video and question and answer sessions we saw in Valencia this event is not be missed.

Parents - don't just take one sailor - take four!
