Go behind the scenes as solo round the world yachtsman, Alex Thomson, performs a daring feat on board his his IMOCA60, Hugo Boss.

Previously we have seen Thomson perform the stunt where everything goes according to plan. However this newly released video shows what happened in the first takes, where things didn't quite go so well.

And in case you are wondering as to the reason for the stunt - his longtime sponsor, Hugo Boss, have produced a water repellent suit!
