Volvo Ocean Race – C’est à 12h00 aujourd’hui que Team Alvimedica a été le premier a s’élancer vers Goteborg, dernière portion de parcours.

Le bateau franco-turc a bénéficié de son excellent début de course, entre Lorient et La Haye puisqu’il a pu partir avec près de 2heures d’avance sur Dongfeng Race Team et 2h20 sur les Espagnols de MAPRE.

« C’est incroyablement compliqué » a expliqué Anderson Reggio qui prépare la navigation pour Team Alvimedica. Il y a un système de haute pression, beaucoup de DST (Dispositif de Séparation de Trafic, interdits à la navigation, ndlr) et une zone de transition avec des vents d’ouest. Pour cette dernière portion de course, le vent promet d’être plutôt faible et majoritairement au portant. Selon le météorologiste, cette situation pourrait être plus favorable au chasseurs qu’aux chassés.

Le suspens promet donc de se maintenir pour quelques jours encore. La flotte est attendue à Goteborg le 22 juin, en soirée.
