Bell's Beer Bayview Mackinac Race - Early registration now open

It may be February but it is not too soon to begin your preparations for the 2014 Bell's Beer Bayview Mackinac Race. Early registration is now available. If you submit your application for a DRYA PHRF certificate (to DRYA), then register and pay your race entry fee by March 1, 2014 you will qualify for a discount of $1/ft off of the standard entry fee of $14/ft. After March 1 the standard rate will apply.

Currently, 52 boats are taking advantage of that discount. Don't miss out! Deadline for all entries is June 1, 2014.

The Safety Requirements and Recommendations for the 2014 Bell's Bayview Mackinac Race is available on the race website under 'Documents/Forms' or here.

Additionally, Amendment number one to the Notice of Race is available here.

Bayview will be hosting two seminars this winter relating to the 2014 Bell's Bayview Mackinac Race that all are invited to attend.

On Thursday, February 27th, Charlie Elmer and Bob Smith will host a seminar on Mackinac Race Safety and Inspection.

On Thursday, March 13th, Al Declercq of Doyle Sails Detroit will present 'Reaching to Mackinac'.

Saturday, March 29th will feature 'Advanced Weather Forecasting' with Mark Thornton.
