Volvo Ocean Race - October 27, 2014. Leg 1 onboard Team Alvimedica. Day 16. The sky darkens as the progress south towards a low pressure system off Rio progresses; decision time for beginning the gradual turn east towards Cape Town. A messy unfurl of the A3 for Dave Swete and Nick Dana as the sail's paint (sitting on the rail in Equatorial heat for the last week) sticks to itself.
