A close mark rounding in last summer's US Sailing Junior Olympics Sailing Festival hosted by Pensacola Yacht Club. In 2013 PYC will not only host the Junior Olympics July 5-7 but will also host the US Optimist Dinghy Assn SE Championship which is a qualifer for the National Championship. Over 200 young competitors and their coaches and/or families are expected for the Sept 20-22 championship. The Junior Olympics usually has around 110 entries in multiple classes of boats.
