The team of five young, dedicated sailors have all worked extremely hard to become the Top 5 optimist dinghy sailors in New Zealand for 2010, and because of this they will be the team who represent New Zealand at the Optimist World Championships – Langkawi, Malaysia in December 2010.
They need the Toyota Believe Scholarship to help fund their campaign. The five sailors will compete in both the individual regatta and the teams racing. With many expenses to raise funds for, including entry fees, boat charters, flights, and coaching before and at the regatta, the $3000 scholarship will help them get there!
Markus Somerville who is a member of the team also has the chance to win an AMP Scholarship. Again, there are no strings attached, so please
