Tornado European Championship - Day 1

The three-time European champions Roman Hagara and Hans Peter Steinacher of Austria won the first two races at the 2006 Tornado European Championship in Travemunder, Germany.

In second place after two races are Yann Guichard and Alexandre Guyader of France and in third Paschalidis and Trigonis Kostas of Greece.

The Italian pair of Vincenzo Sorrentino and Giorgio Colombo took seond place in the first race, while Carolijn Brouwer and Seb Godefroid (BEL) challenged in the second race, finishing second but dropped to 22nd in the second, and are seventh overall.

Briton's Hugh Styles and Tom Peel led the GBR competitors, finishing fourth in the first race but fell away to a 41st in the second. Top GBR pair overall are Leigh McMillan and Will Howden at 11th, with Andy Walsh and Ed Barney in 18th.
