The Bauhaus Cup RS Aero German Class Assocation
The Bauhaus Cup marked the anniversary of the first German RS Aero regatta, held here a year ago. Situated accessibly near the Dutch and Belgian borders this weekend at Eschweiler See looks set on the annual calendar with the possibility to attract the Belgian and Dutch sailors together with the large German fleet nearby.

The busy schedule of twelve races were held over two days providing plenty of opportunity for all the sailors to share in some race glory and memorable moments.

Twelve sailors took part and with Marcus Walther out of action after the Italian RS Aerocup on Lake Garda the previous weekend, Thomas Beneker of Bremen was the new champion - winning six races! second place was home Eschweiler See Aero, Maarten Donders, with JornDomres of YC Phoenixsee in third.
