Just for the ladies – the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) Women on Water program returns in 2014 with a pamper-packed entertainment schedule during the four days of the Show from May 22 to 25.

A popular highlight to every SCIBS, this year’s Women on Water line-up will see the ladies embark on the signature High Tea on the High Seas cruise aboard Brisbane’s premier charter vessel, Pure Adrenalin, fine-tune their sailing skills with Sailing Masterclasses by Sunshine Sailing Australia or learn the latest in on-board styling with the masters of boating sophistication, Boat Style.

Running each day of the Show, Boat Style’s free 'Discover Your Style Onboard' courses will explore all the latest interior styles available to equip your floating abode, including stylish, yet high performance and weather-proof furniture and accessories.

Also free and running daily at the Sanctuary Cove Marina, Sunshine Sailing Australia will host teaching sessions on-board a (stationary) yacht, covering sailing essentials such as wind direction and wind awareness, safety and radio communications, knots and associated winch awareness.

On the Saturday of the Boat Show, the must-attend Women on Water event, High Tea on the High Seas will set sail at 1.30pm sharp, giving ladies the chance to enjoy two and a half hours of luxury cruising, complimentary bubbles, a light lunch, pampering sessions, entertainment, prizes and gifts.

SCIBS head of events, Johan Hasser said the Women on Water program was always a highlight of the Boat Show event calendar, and provided ladies with an enjoyable, social and educational way to make the most out of the Show.

'Women on Water is always a favourite for the ladies and we are seeing it grow more and more popular each year,' said Mr Hasser.

'Women are getting more involved in every aspect of boating and on the water and these free courses are a fantastic opportunity for ladies to learn more about their favourite pastime.

'We always strive to provide something for the whole family to enjoy at SCIBS and Women on Water gives ladies the opportunity to get together with their friends and like-minded women and learn new skills and tips from the experts, while also enjoying some pamper time and fun.'

Bookings are essential for the Women on Water High Tea on the High Seas Cruise, with limited tickets available for $75 per person, including entry to the Boat Show available at www.sanctuarycoveboatshow.com or www.ticketmaster.com.au
