by BW Media on 10 Oct 2009
PSR and what it can achieve SW
How long since you paid any attention to the water in the water tanks in your boat? How much residue is being left there by mineral deposits? Here's a product that will remove the scales inside pipes and tanks, and it's ecologically safe. It's called PSW, standing for Potable Water Scale Remover.

PSR™ from TRAC Ecological Marine Products is formulated to remove residues caused by fresh water including scale, silicate, calcium, sludge, and all other mineral deposits. Rids potable water systems of odors & discoloration by attacking the source. Scale builds on low lying, flat sections of systems allowing bacteria to form. PSR™ targets & removes these areas, bringing new life to fresh water systems.

Made from food grade-rated materials, non-toxic and bio-degradable, safe for users, equipment and the environment. Will not harm the properties of most surfaces including, plastic, metal, rubber, fiberglass, vinyl, wood, or paint, however, care should be given when PSR™ is used with zinc based metals such as zinc anodes, tin, or galvanized materials.

Originally designed to address problems within municipal drinking water systems, PSR™ has been formulated to meet strict NSF requirements. PSR™ rids your potable water system of odors & discoloration by attacking
the source! Scale builds on low lying, flat sections of your system allowing bacteria to form. PSR™ targets & removes these areas, bringing new life to your fresh water system.

Like all TRAC's products, it is built as a safe, non-toxic solution, but PSR™ takes it one step further by employing only food-grade rated chemicals, thus ensuring that your system will remain safe for drinking.

How to use it:
PSR™ provides impeccable results without having to remove any piping or create a mess
create a mess. It can be used by one of two methods;

· Immersion: Isolate the tanks, fill the entire system and let stand.
· Circulation: Inject PSR™ into tank, mix, run faucets for two minutes every 15 minutes until the tank is empty, then fill the system and rinse.

The product is sold in concentrated form. One gallon of PSR™ treats approximately 30 to 40 gallons of potable water. Available in 1 gallon bottle, 5 gallon pail, 55 gallon drum or 250 gallon tote tank.
