Nordstream Race - Team Germany wins the Inshore Race

Ahead of the start of the Nordstream Race, Team Germany win the Inshore Race. Due to light winds in Frensburg, Germany the format was changed from a Match Racing series to an Inshore Race. Team Germany dominated the two races to take the win on home soil.

Our team will be brininging you all of the action; the preparations, including the ORC start on Sunday and the Swan 60 start on Monday as well as all of the arrivals in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The Nord Stream Race 2013, run by Yacht Club of Saint Petersburg (SPBYC) and Norddeutscher Regatta Verein (NRV) starts with the Nord Stream Match Race in front of the harbour mole at Marina Sonwik, Fördepromenade, Flensburg, on 12.09.13. There are then two start days for the 800 nautical miles non-stop race across the Baltic Sea from Flensburg / Glücksburg, Germany to Saint Petersburg, Russia, with the ORC Class starting at 12.00hrs on 15.09.13 and the Swan 60 Class starting at 12.30hrs on 16.09.13 both from in front of the Yacht Harbour Glucksburg, Quellental, Glucksburg.
