More Light winds in the second day at the APL Soling European Championship, and together with the light winds, a current of 2.4 knots and more in some areas, made it difficult for racing.

In the past two days we saw winners from three different countries:
Germany: with GER 49 Holger Weichert, Laurent Schee and Martin Setzkorn and MARINEPOOL team GER 300 Roman Koch, Maxl Koch and Gregor Bornemann in the first day.
Argentina: with EDDING team ARG 37 Gustavo Warburg, Maximo Smith and Miguel Lacour.
Netherlands with NED 33 Rudy den Outer, Leo Determan and Ronald den Arend

Although no victories so far GER 304 , Thomas Maschkiwitz, Christian Oehler and Christoph Wossala leads the overall results by 5 points over the EDDING team (ARG 37).

The International Soling Class president Johan Offermans sailing with Bas Dusee and Olivier Dusee (NE 25) with an excellent regularity follows in the overall results.

The usual after races was offered by APL and ASF, with free pink shrimps .

Next Wednesday two more races are scheduled and if the sixth is completed throw outs will be count.
