KDY Autumn Regatta and Baltic IRC Trophy winners announced

by www.baltic-irc.org on 20 Oct 2010
Tarok 7 wins the KDY Autumn Regatta Martin Strandbygaard
KDY Autumn Regatta update: It was a fabulous late summertime racing near Kopenhagen, when Erik Berth finished with two firsts and one second place the KDY Autumn Regatta in the IRC class. The Swan 45 Tarok 7 also dealt very well with the strong conditions at Flensburg two weeks ago and in the Big Boat Challenge earlier this year.

But one can't compare it with the three victories of H.M. King Harald V of Norway in the Big Boat Challenge, Faerdern Race (Oslo) and the Gotland Runt. So the King achived with the TP52 FRAM XVI a top scoring of 75.6 points followed by Tarok 7 (72.5) and the IMX40 Magnum from Finland (69.7 points).

The fourth overall scorer Camilla is from Norway too, a canting keel Cookson 50. On the fifth place the flying Ujiuiui, a 20 year old ultra light boat from Friedrich Hausmann, Germany. Congratulations to all winners, click here for the final results. The price giving is scheduled on 11th February 2011 at the city hall of Hamburg with a senate reception, more details will follow.
