Helly Hansen Women’s Challenge - Victory for Vanessa Dudley

by Ivana Gattegno on 25 Mar 2014 At the Manly Yacht Club Helly Hansen Women's Challenge, the young Opti female competitors were lucky to learn new tricks from a master in their regatta area.

Vanessa won the Laser division in the event on Sat 22nd March. She started sailing at MYC when she was nine years old and has gone onto an impressive sailing career. She recently won the 2013 Laser Grand Masters World Championship in Oman. Her ocean-racing career includes two transatlantic crossings and numerous Australian coastal races.
