Harris and Byron (USA) win Albacore Internationals

WaveRate Albacore International Championship SW

The 2007 WaveRate Albacore International Championship was held at the West River SC in Galesville, Maryland and racing was on the Chesapeake Bay about five miles south of Annapolis off the Thomas Point Light.

With the final day abadoned when winds hit 35 knots, the new champions are Barney Harris and David Byron of the USA. Runners up were Chris Turner and Simon Maguire GBR, with Neville Herbert and Stephen Penfold GBR in third place.
