Forty Tasars set to race for NSW Championship over Easter

NSW Tasar Championships 2011 Phil Thompson
The 35th NSW Tasar State Championships are kicking off Friday 7th April, for what is sure to be a fantastic event yet again this year. So far 40 boats are entered, including the current World, Australian and NSW State Champions, all different crews, just to show how tight the racing is in this class.

The weather is looking good, if not too good, for the nine race series to be held over Friday, Saturday and Sunday from the Illawarra Yacht Club.

As always we will be supporting the Breast Cancer Network Australia over the duration of the event.

To keep tabs on the results and for more information on this great international class go to www.tasar.com.au

A big thanks to sponsors Bethwaite Design, Zhik, Maxy Boats, Good Gear and Deanna Harken (massage) for their continued support of this event.

We will also have Action Sport Photos on deck for Saturday’s southerly, so stay tuned for some pics!
