Jack Binder, along with his adventurous partner Jude has over 160,000 miles of sailing under his belt and knows the coastline of Tasmania well.
The guide not only includes some great anchorages, but other attractions like walks, best fishing, and of course, details on marinas including 2012 fees.
It is the last in an eight part series that covers all of Tasmania, the Furneaux Group, and King Island, all online and free. Now the lot has been compiled into one file available in several formats, one that prints perfectly on A4, one for iPhones and iPads, and another that works on Kindles.
They have also updated and added to the existing material, all taking hours and hours, so they are ' asking folks to buy us a beer for our hard work.' The file also contains some lovely photos and live links to video clips and marina/attractions contacts.

About the Binders:
After starting construction of his yacht in 1970 he went to sea in 1973 with his wife and young family, a team called the 4 J’s. The 4 J’s clocked up over 100,000 miles together – about the same distance as sailing 3 times around the world. During this trip the 4 J’s visited over 80 countries and sailed across 4 out of the 5 oceans. This phase ended in around 1987 but Jack and Jude relaunched the yacht in 2005 and 'the team' headed off again, although now it was only 2 J’s – Jack and Jude. Since then they have circumnavigated Australia and Tasmania, exploring every tiny bay as they went, along with the coastlines and marinas. The latest guide is part of the result of these voyages.
