The WSSR Council announces the establishment of a new 24 hour world distance monohull record.It was set by Ken Read and his Comanche team during the 2015 Transatlantic race

Comanche is a 100ft supermaxi owned by Jim and Kristy Clark, she is able to be sailed in manually powered mode, or with engine assisted winching. She was in manual power only mode for this record attempt.
