America's Cup - Solent Showdown - Team NZ and Land Rover BAR

Land Rover BAR (formerly Ben Ainslie Racing) have released images of the hook-up between the British America's Cup Challenger and Emirates Team NZ which occurred on the Solent off the Isle of Wight, on Monday.

Both teams are in the area training ahead of the America's Cup World Series which gets underway from Portsmouth on July 23. Emirates Team New Zealand are expected to be in England for a week. Ben Ainslie Racing opened their Portsmouth base

He now has a pile of parts, including a hull! It has been ten days since the first update. Progress has been good, so I now have a pile of parts, including a hull! Fitting a boat build in around a 8-5 full time job is not easy. The 5:30 starts and 23:00 finishes definitely makes for a long day.

5.5 Metre fleet basks in brilliant Hankø sunshine
As world championship is opened 23 International 5.5 Metres from 10 nations have made their final preparations in a brilliantly sunny Hankø for the Worlds which starts on Friday. Ten races are scheduled over the next five days in what looks like being a fairly breezy week ahead.

Svea's coastal course success squeezes Topaz
On day two at Superyacht Cup Palma Svea won the first round-the-buoys 'coastal' race for the J Class at Superyacht Cup Palma today, a 22.7 nautical mile course which took the fleet on a long upwind SW across the bay, reaching and running back to complete a couple of smaller circuits.
