Adventure Safety becomes sole Australian distributor of Ocean Safety

by Jeff Dusting on 19 Mar 2013
SW
The UK’s largest independent marine safety equipment supplier, Ocean Safety, has added Adventure Safety of Richmond, Victoria as a stocking distributor for its full range of products including Para Anchor, Ocean Ultralite and ISO liferafts, Kru lifejackets, Aquaspec lights and Jonbuoy man overboard systems.

Most significantly, Adventure Safety will be stocking the Para Anchor drogue and sea anchor products, which until recently were manufactured in Australia but have now been acquired by Ocean Safety.

'The appointment of Adventure Safety is an important part of our strategy to maintain easy accessibility to the Para Anchor range which has been hugely popular in Australia,' explains Ocean Safety’s Sales Director Mark Hart. 'Adventure Safety will hold the Para Anchor range in stock, and will ensure that supply is not interrupted.'

Adventure Safety, headed by Jeff Dusting, is well-established and innovative distributor of a range of marine and adventure equipment – whilst also running independent test and evaluation of products for the Australian marine environment. Jeff comments, 'We are delighted to take on the Ocean Safety products – their products are built to meet the harsh Australian conditions and the high-standards we have set at Adventure Safety – the same standard as that set by Wild Oats seen carrying the Ocean Safety Ultralite liferafts during its 2012 Sydney to Hobart win'

'By choosing Adventure Safety we are confident that the supply of Para Anchor will be uninterrupted, while the opportunities for new business for all Ocean Safety’s products across the leisure boating and yacht racing sectors will develop steadily,' comments Mark Hart.

Adventure Safety’s strong relationship network amongst outlets means that Ocean Safety’s products will be available at stores around the country’s coastlines. Adventure Safety website
